Xperia Play Facebook phonebook

I have recently purchased the xperia play and, while I have enjoyed this phone so far, when I synced my facebook it brought everyone that has added their phone number to their account into the phonebook. is it possible to hide these and keep the contacts that were just on my sim card?

Dialer App -> Contacts tab -> Menu -> Display Options

and then choose the contacts you want to display

I may be blind but I cannot find that at all. do you mean contacts - filter? I tried that but it's still coming up.
