I see they're going up Farmers Bridge this year, so that explains why I've seen so many Killorglin lads training on it ! :)

What climb is this ? it looks like a back road that then joins the N70 ?! For a moment there I thought it was the Short Mountain climb that was used in the National Hill climb a few years ago.

Yeah, you're right, its a 1.7km climb, 7% avg hitting 11% in places.

That'll do the job nicely :D

Ahhh, I think I will gracefully decide to do the 50km version then.
    Where is Farmers Bridge?

I have just seen where that climb is.
Murph100 - should be no problem to you. Sure that climb is literally in your back garden?

Yeah, its virtually in my back garden, but I avoid it like the plague and use the front garden route instead :)

That Farmers Bridge aint exactly pleasurable.

As someone who has the misfortune of living at the top of farmers bridge,I can safely say it is not a pleasant climb.
It's 7.5%avg over 1.7km but most of the ascent comes from a series of 11-12% ramps.
Its actually a relief when you hit a false flat and realize that it's "only" 5-6%.
