Anyone else getting freezing/choppy/pixelated pictures from Maghera this evening?

I know it's fairly windy & wet here in Clare at d mo so it's probably causing me problems, although my aerial is in d attic.

    Still having issues tonight.
Edision Argus in the living room with signal levels @ 85%, quality @ 72%
Ferguson Ariva 120 in the bedrrom with signal level @ 93%, quality@ 82%

Both being fed by the same aerial, never had any major problems before but this bad weather seems to be messing with my signal.

    Anyone having the same problems?

Any suggestions on how I can improve the signals?

currently have my little one up late to watch the toy show.

Barely watchable with it freezing/stuttering every couple of seconds

its your leads, give them a check out, not a glitch here and tried all channels, or do a reboot

    thanks mate,
2 boxes fed from the same aerial both freezing/pixelated for me over the last few nites.

I've been up in d attic 2nite and checked all connections but everything seems ok.

I don't know whats happened cos i've never had any issues with my saorview signal before.

I've had the Edision for nearly 2 years (since Jan 2010) and the Ferguson since the summer.

I might need to get an amp but i've no power supply in the attic which will make it difficult

Has the problem coincided with you switching on heating or other electrical equipment?

If you need an amplifier you can use a masthead type which can send power up one of the downleads from a separate PSU.

Thanks for d info. Something to look into.

Might be an idea to get some power in d attic, I'm sure it would come in handy
