Not sure if this should go into the for sale/wanted section so I'll leave it to the mods.

I'm finding it a bit difficult to hang and dress a deer carcass as I'm using a rope through the tendons of the hind legs. It doesn't allow for the legs to be held open and for access to clear out the rectum. Does anyone know where I might buy a metal "hanger" or of anyone who would be able to make one up?

    Thanks for looking.

just get a piece of 2x1 slightly longer than the width you want the legs splayed at. notch the ends and push it between the lengths of rope that'll keep the beast in the position you require

    Better option is..................

Nip down to your local butchers and ask for a pair of hooks, he'll have an old set in the back to give ya.
Then do what I do and hang the deer off a low branch in the back garden to skin it. Put a couple of nails in the branch to keep the hooks apart.
