    Am I being simplistic (I admit to ignorance) ?
    All the news is about various Eurozone (also even the USA )countries having their credit rating cut .
    Since Ireland seems to be holding onto its lowly credit status does that translate into an improvement since it is no longer so far beneath the centre of gravity for this property (if that is the right term?) ?

    Not really.......

    I believe Ireland is at junk status which is I think the lowest you can get.
    So in answer to your question, no it's not really a good thing as such.
