Samsung Laptop 300 Euro Approx Delivered

Pretty good spec too, maybe an extra 2 GB of ram would be good but still a great price.

Anyone here dealt with this company before? Good rep?

Looks like you have to trade in a laptop to get that price...or am i misreading that?

Don't think so. If you trade in you get a further 125 off.

Although I went through to purchase to see the price and it came to 299.

Would the 50 cashback be applied as you purchase or how would it work?

I reckon the price is subject to a trade-in :(

Not sure, still seems to me that the trade in would just give you more off.

Tried creating an account on the site there but it wont allow me. Saying i need to correct errors when entering my details but its all correct.

I'm reading it the same as Mossy, two separate offers one of £50 and one of £175. Dealt with Saveonlaptops before, no problem. As far as I remember there is a £10 delivery charge to Ireland.

Cheers. You have any problem registering an account?

It's telling me to correct fields in the registration form but everything is correct I think.

I tried EIRE and 0000 for postcode.

As far as I remember I used REP123 as the postcode.
How good or bad the processor is usually depends on what you want to use the laptop for, if it's just for browsing, documents and such I wouldn't worry but if you are intending to use it for gaming then I'd look elsewhere.

    Well that postcode worked. Cheers.

Anyone know if an AIB Maestro card will work with them?

    Im guessing not.

They only take proper credit cards I believe.

I had awful trouble with the postcode before. I put in BT1AA as Belfast isn't too far from Dublin. It wouldn't let me put in n/a or leave it blank though. Ended up being delayed due to the wrong post code. I'd ring them after you order it and get them to fix the postcode otherwise it could take 2 weeks and with Xmas here possibly longer.

Don't bother emailing them, best to call trust me.

Cheers, do people think this is possibly the best deal atm for a laptop of this spec?

    trade in - http://www.samsungoffers.com/tradein.php

it's £125 if working with 12" or bigger and less than 5 years old - at that rate you might as well sell it privately

The mere mention of ( dare I say it ) Celeron in this area always prompts the usual responses. Internet and general word / excel documents would give you little cause for concern.

That said, laptops have come down in price a lot and there is plenty of competition, so if you were prepared to up your budget a little, you could get a better spec'd machine for not that much more €.

That said, you're the punter; its your wallet that's open; its your call ;)

Just to point out, the £50 cash back has to be redeamed by 30/11, i.e Today. So no chance.
Purchases of the qualifying Samsung notebook made from qualifying resellers during the promotional period (1st September 2011 – 30th November 2011) are eligible to claim.

Dunno if that means that you can't claim after tonight!
