I'd sooner the likes of Boge over Monroe tbh, Monroe may be OE but they aren't fantastic by any stretch of the imagination.
As an aside, who fits them as OE?

Not a clue to be honest, they'll be more expensive than Monroe though I would think regardless of where you buy them. If you got them trade price in a factors that might be reasonable.

What car are these shocks going on?

The majority of garages i've worked in have fitted Monroe shocks and I've never seen one come back with any issue or warranty claim.

Oh no doubt, I wasn't suggesting they are anyway substandard in that regard, call it snobbery if you will but it's like comparing Moprod pads to Mintex, the Moprods will do grand but Mintex are still better :)

Bought a pair of Monroe shocks from www.mister-auto.ie. Good price. Delivered by UPS.

Passed NCT retest :). Car driving fine, feels same as before, no better or worse.

Thought from the website the shocks were coming from Dublin, but they were actually shipped direct from France.

Great satisfaction in doing it myself, saving at least half the cost, probably more.
