    Hi all,
I recently bought a vw jetta 06 but there's a problem with the front window switches. on the drivers door there is a 4 switch panel for the 2 back windows and 2 for the front windows, the back windows are working fine on this panel but the 2 front switches arent working, this is also the case for the front passanger side window too the switch is not working. I tried the fuses for the front windows and they're fine. Does anyone know what could be the problem.....

    Thanks Louise

Could be the wiring going from the door to the body?

Did both windows stop working at the same time? And the passenger switch does not work either?

they were like that when i bought it. Yeah the passenger side there is only one switch but that's not working either. its unusual for both switches to go so that's what makes me think its something else. I checked the wiring coming from the body out but haven't took the door panel off yet.

Easy way to eliminate wiring remove the door panel(outside panel, not inside) remove the plug from the window regulator and check have you 12 volts and also check for a voltage drop. Large voltage drop would be high resistance in the circuit somewhere. If someone has a wiring diagram it would make life easier.
