    Ok so i got a 32gb ipad 2 over the weekend and today decided to update to ios 5.0.1 and have hit a wee bit of a snag :(

    Basically I cant connect to my wifi.

    I have the symbol for the wifi connection in the corner but in settings its still trying to load and all internet based apps will not connect.

    I have tried a hard reset and im currently on my second restore thru itunes with no luck.

    Any body have any other ideas to a fix to this, its begining to really annoy me!

    reset all network settings in settings-reset
    reboot your router, change the encryption on your router

    Thanks Cathal, Yeah had done all that you said still with no joy!

    But updated the firmware on the router and hey presto working again :D

    feck knows why that before updating to 5.0.1 all was fine and then after iI have to update my modem.

    Oh well alls well that ends well
