Gas Line Galway City

    Just wondering if anyone knows whether there is a Gas pipeline in Galway and if so what areas does it pass it through i.e. Salthill, Knocknacarra etc...

    The newer estates in knocknacarra and Roscam/Doughiska have gas piped in.
    I'm not sure exactly where the lines run but Galway was only connected to the gas network in the last 10 years or so which is why it is in the newer estates that have it while the older ones are oil.

    You could try http://apps.galwaycoco.ie/genericmapviewer/ Its supposed to have some services on it. Might have the gas lines. Can't get it to load in work so may be of no use at all!
