I ordered a box yesterday from them and it arrived this morning. Theres nothing wrong with the box other then I need a RF modulator. TBH I cant be bothered buying any more leads/wires for the box. The package etc is is in good condition. Do you think i'll get a refund?

I would think he would look after you, how come you need a modulator ? Or did you think the box had one built-in ?

Yeah I thought the box had a buily it one :( Is there anything I can do and realatively cheap? I have heard about using a old VCR? but I dont have one could I use a old DVD player? Basically the box and the router are about 10 foot away from the tv and I dont want to be trailing scart leads across the room

No, dvd player is unlikely to have one built in.

About 30 euro for an RF Modulator.

Would a old dvd player have one? Does the RF modulator just then stick into the back of the dreambox?

£14 for a rf modulator off ebay,..

RF modulator, you have a scart lead from the dreambox to the modulator... Then a co-ax from the rf out on the modulator..

But i'm sure Tony at satboxes will sort you out no probs mate..

Once everything is sent back in good condition you'll be fine...

How will you connect the modulator to the tv then? Or you can attach the Dreambox to the router via wifi (A wifi bridge is the best option, about 25€) Ive a DM in the kitchen connected to the main router via wifi bridge.

just email him.he's a decent guy and i would be surprised if he didnt refund, the modulator or an old vcr is your best option. i wouldnt return the box just for this reason.

Would have thought the correct course of action would be to contact the guy first rather than starting a thread on here.
