I've knocked the rear view mirror off the window mount and can't figure how to put it back on. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Is it the one that's bonded to the windscreen? You can buy the proper bonding stuff for those in Halfords or a motorfactors..

No, the bit that is bonded to the screen is still attached. Its a little 3 sided metal piece. I'm trying to attached the rest of it back to that.

Well then unless the fitting is broken then it should just slot back in and click in place, usually from the top.

Cool. Ive been trying for ages but i can't seem to manage. The part that clips back on seems to rigid and i dont want to force it. Thanks for your help. I might give one of there dealers a ring and see if they can have a go at it for me.

Ok, so if anyone is as stupid as me in the first place to knock it off here is how i got it back on. You turn the mirror so the clip lines up with the long edges of the nut and then twist the mirror until the clip grips the nut.
