    Hi,

I have been studying for CAP 2 and unfortunately wasn't successful in all papers in the repeats - I was just wondering if anyone knows whether any of the CAP2 papers will qualify for ACCA exemptions?

Thanks a lot. I was searching for it since my interview but in vain. I even emailed ICAI but didnt get any response.

Can u post the link regarding these exemptions from cap 1 and cap2.

I am doing my final exams of ACCA. thats a big relief if that saves me from cap 1 and cap 2.

    cheers.

I am looking for vice versa i.e exemption in cap 1 and cap 2 on the basis of ACCA passed exams.

any help will be highly appreciated.

These are exemptions that ACCA grant for having completed CAI exams (the link is above). As for applying to CAI for exemptions after completing ACCA, they are all taken on an individual basis so that's why no one can give you a straight answer. You would obviously have to show that you had covered the CAP 1 syllabus but after that there may be other rules like you might have to hold a degree, etc. Email Niall Whitney, he's in charge of the exemptions.

I have had to sit the Cap 2 exams a number of times and still have two left to complete. What would it be like to change to ACCA, would it be easier in any way?!
