    Hi,
Need a bit of advice...the pin coming up from the siphon that connects to the wire link on the wc handle has broken,do i need to fit a new siphon or is there a way to fix it without going down that road?
    thanks for any help.

Its the plunger that has snapped. You will need a new siophan. You will need to most likely take the cistern apart to get at it anyway.

    and silicone.....

Sometimes cistern fittings espectially the sipohan unit has a nut half way down meaning it can be taken apart but this is a rare occurance. Usually actually found on council toilets as they insist on them for this reason.
