UPC HD Problem, Sound - No Picture

    Hi,

I have recently started having a problem with my UPC HD+ box.
When I turn it on first thing in the morning ..(Box would always go into standby mode at night ) It nearly always comes on with Sound only, but no picture, wierd thing is that if I hit OK or Guide button, the menu appears, but not the tv picture ..
The only way that I can correct this is by powering off the box with the toggle switch on the back ..

I have my HD+ box configured through a Denon AVR-1909 AV amp and this has been working fine for over a Year now .. The picture problem has only started happening in the last few weeks ..

I know that this may suggest some sort of issue with my AV amp, but I am normally only using the Amp in HDMI pass through mode, (Amp in standby) with the sound via the TV ..

The other thing that really confuses me is the fact that when I press the Menu or OK button to change channels, I can see the on-screen content, but not the TV picture ..

Again, when I power the UPC box off and on again, the problem disappears. I don't need to do anything with my Amp ..

Has anyone else experienced any similar problems ?

Have UPC changed their SW version recently ?

I have a UPC Cisco Box
    HW Version: 1.8
    SW Version: 4.0.0.7E2
    Bootloader version: 1.8

    Network Package Version: 4.0.F.0

    Any help, greatly appreciated ..

    Cheers,

    Bob
