Define 'design documents'. Usage guidelines or similar? It depends on the scale of the project

The example that I have is the project i'm on at the moment, I have to design a 5 page website with links offsite for studio. I have to give a user experience, site content, site goals, storyboards and a site map.

    For a 5 pager - haha! :)

It's good practice though, for when you have bigger projects & clients.
