    RG59 around 750m
Cat5 with good quality baluns and good quality cable you coud get 1500m
however your camera power is the issue.Ideally you would power that locally.

More like 300M for RG59 using high quality cable, less for the cheaper cable
Passive Baluns vary but anything from 200-500M, anything over that use powered baluns
If you double up on the cores in the cat5 you could get over 50M before you notice any voltage drop but this depends on the cameras used and quality of cable.
    Try this calculator

Thanks for helpful replies guys,i am running cables shortly from the corner of a shed where by power supply is to 2 cameras the first one is about 70 meters away and the second one is 100 meters ,i have a few rolls of rg59 plus power cable and was hoping to use this , if i power the 2 core from these distances would everthing be OK ?as powering each cam locally is a bit of a job?

70m & 100m you will have no problems. (Double up on the power cables & it should be fine as well)
If you need any help when installing you know where we are.;)

If you were using alarm cable or cat5 you could double up on the cores.
Is 24vac an option for the cameras? That would travel better than 12vdc.
