Mixer on shower

    Hi All,

I'm not a plumber but need advice. I have a shower mixer with two dials on either side, one turns the shower on while the other regulates the temperaure with a safety thingy for temperature. The dial that regulates the temperature has always been stiff to move. Its as if it isn't attached correctly. I don't mess with it too much as I feel I could damage it. Any ideas of what the problem is?

Would this be a too simple a job for a plumber to come out and repair/ sort. I'm in North/ West Dublin 15. Any recommendations of good plumbers?

    Thanks in advance,

    Razorfish
