    hi-- just wondering if people have had good or bad experiences with this car..i was looking a either a 1.4 or the 1.2 petol 05 up..which is best?...would the 1.2 model be very underpowered

    The 1.4 will be a much smoother engine and shouldn't take much more fuel then the 1.2.

    Both engines have various reliability issues if not looked after properly.

    It's basically an Ibiza with a boot so the same good and bad things apply.

    I know the 1.4 16v VW engine isn't the last word in reliability or longevity but I would still have one any day over that awful 1.2 three cylinder yoke.
