    For an exact replacement, my guess is you'd have to contact sennheiser directly. If you still have your packaging there might be an item number you could search online for.

    The problem with them ones is that they won't fit into the jack on the headphones as the jack is recessed and has a small hole. Plus I don't want to drill them.

    I got a fiio e5 amp that has some very slim jacks (5mm diameter) on it. I've tried it on my sennheiser 435 which has a recessed port (7mm diameter) and it fits fine.

    It's possible to buy the short cable or get the amp. The only problem is the cables aren't very long.
