Most new laptops come with multi-touch trackpads, on these trackpads when you "un-pinch/reverse-pinch" it zooms in (in some applications, including most browsers).
This is very easy to do by accident.
The easiest way to fix it is press Ctrl + 0
you can also "pinch" to zoom out or press Ctrl + - or hold Ctrl and scroll down
