Recruit Training

Hi guys,

Starting NS (PDF) recruit training soon (confirmed 100%). Anyone have any tips or advice for the 16(or so) weeks?:)

keep the head down, work hard, listen to every instruction your be told, don,t be a dirtbird and work as a team mate and not as a mé féiner!!!!!
oooh and enjoy your recruit training ya might think at times this ****e is hard but there,s a reason for everything your being taught coz in time you,ll look back at it and laugh and say to yourself they were good times!!!

Did the NS get in contact with you to confirm your place in the recruit class?

I'm still waiting on a response.

I've been told by a friend in the NS that there'll be two separate recruit classes. The second one will be run at a later date.

Hopefully i get a place in the second recruit class!

NS training was always harder than army, not sure if it still is. The NCO'S and officers will ride you ( as the saying goes ) for 16 or so weeks. At night, your buddies will ride you too. So, get a butt plug and glue or have fun.
