JD 6920 Engine breather pipe Q's

Had the tractor out there tis morning and notices there bein more steam will call it commin out the breather pipe this mornin could tis mean head gaskit? if so do these heads have to be skimmed its a 02 model!:mad: All help appreciated thanks
