    Hi Guys,
6.5mile road race on Stephens day and id like to do a good time...

Anyone any recommendations on how to train for it? I've never trained for anything like this before. I usually just do it every year for the laugh.

I've been doing 4k road races recently at around 17:40
And yest i did the exact same race as i'll be doing on Stephens day but i did an extra half mile to get home. Those 7 miles took me 57mins

    Any suggestions for it?
    Thanks!

You've only got four weeks, which isn't a significant amount of time to realize a considerable improvement, but why don't you take a look at the last four weeks of the HalHigdon intermediate program and see if you are up for it?
