ok im on jsa and gte 151 my partner is on swa and gets 248 euro we have 3 children
my partner is waiting on a claim for jsb but he starts back work in february so i doubt it will be sorted by then

my question is iv been offer a job 2 days a week and really want to take it on will the community welfare officer deduct it from my partners money?

there is no point me taking it if he does because as his claim will more then likely not go through we wont be getting anything extra

yes if your partner is in receipt of swa then any income will be taken euro for euro. swa is last resort and is there to bring you up to the social welfare level so if you take up employment it will be taken.
    hope this helps

I think they're only interested in your savings over 20,000. Can't see a loan affecting your claim
