    Hi all

Looking for a good lively spot with great apres and nightlife for New Years. Last minute of course but there seems to be a few options available. St Anton would be first choice but its booked out. Good deals on Zell am See and Mayrhofen. Both resorts are well reviewed with the later being quite an extensive ski area. Has anyone been to either of these, anything we should know. I'd hate of all snow holidays for the honeymoon to be a poor one... I'd never live it down!!confused.gif

Any feedback would be much appreciated

I would try Mayrhofen or Zell em see

Mayrhofen - Hotel Elisabet, is a superb 5 star hotel in Mayrhofen with great afternoon tea.

I have a big soft spot for Mayrhofen Plus you can stay a night in the ice/Igloo hotel at the top of the hill. One of the most famous and banging apres spots in the Alps

Strass sports hotel is a 4 Star with the most amazing Spa and great location.

Zell em See - Grand Hotel right on the frozen lake and old school fancy pants hotel.

The town in Zell is not great but, the hotel and the lake are amazing, skiing is pretty good to. Night life is a little more laid back.

I'd say Kitzbuhel is probably the prettiest town I've skied in. As long as you have snow (we didn't in 2007!!) it would be fabulous for a honeymoon.
Otherwise Saalbach FTW. I'd say Hotel Elizabeth would be perfect for newlyweds.

PARIS, I will choose for my Honeymoon, if you want then have a look of packages. According to me, it is a second name of romance.
