    hi all
im over here to ask a few oppions on the above tractor
as im not a farmer its more of a resto project than anything else
years ago as a young nipper i cut my teeth/made my bones :D driving the exellent massie fergy 135 and 165 usually with a pz haybob getting the hay ready for the jones baler that our neighbouring farmer ran

now im looking at a same tractor 4wd as a project and as a run around we have
a bit of land mainly rushes  and boggy waterlogged land so the tractor will be used for light dutys
the reason im looking at same is i dont really see much of them around so i tought id ask the lads and ladies in the know

please post any thing good or bad about these tractors
    thanks

    Well Johnny (Dan ere)
Saturnos are a grand oul yoke, mind the head gaskets they tend to blow away at the copper ring, its very important to have the right tyres on the front, apparently for a time it was hard to get the right tyres and it they are a wee bit to high they immediately ring the shaft when 4wd is engaged, be sure the 4wd is working properly is what im trying to say !
Shake the steering wheel if it seems loose down the shaft a brass bushing bearing type thing could be on the way out and they are hard to get and a clean fortune !
If the tin is bad it cant be replaced u will have to repair ! !
