Cigars and giving up smoking

    I often heard of people turning to cigar smoking as a way of giving up cigarette smoking. Well, this was before the nicotine patches, gum etc.

    Anyone ever tried it?

    Also, what is the point of cigars when you're not supposed to inhale? I can imagine there's only so much enjoyment as having the taste in your mouth (especially the real expensive ones). Always wondered that.
