Looking for feedback on fuel consumption in a 2007 2.5 diesel Nissan Navara. Interested to know in both manual and automatic models. Thanks.

My friend had one from new for about 3years and sold it. It was a great jeep but it wasnt suitable for him these days. He was getting about 10.5ltrs/100km in a manual. Theyre serious value for money these days i would recommend them. Huge torque

I could squeeze around 30mpg on a long run. They guzzle in traffic though.
They can fairly shift for the size of them too. Mine was an 08 manual.

I got a new one in 2006, 2.5 6speed manual. Always hovered around 8.5l/100km. Nice Jeep. Loads of torque, clutch wear can be an issue especially if it has done a lot of towing. Get it checked out.

You must have been driving on the moon to get 8.5l/100km:D

Was that according to the OBC or actual?

I had a 2008 one from new and couldn't get more than 25mpg out of it!

I had a 09 Navara back in 09 (Company car). I'd recommend it if your doing long journeys, but no for city driving. Lots of torque too

the engine is too small for it :(
they've pulled all of the power out of it too so can't really be remapped.

    2007 D40 navara 4l V6 petrol.

11l/100km on long motorway journeys, drops to 13l on short journeys.

That was OBC. Never bothered to work it out manually. I just put diesel in it when it was empty. :) Wouldn't the OBC be pretty accurate?

Edit: I should probably point out that it was the 174bhp model, didnt they get reduced? and virtually no driving in traffic. I live in the sticks.

Cars OBC's are always optimistic. They are all 174hp afaik.

I stand corrected, I remember now that models fitted with a DPF were slightly less powerfull.

Mine was an 08 and didn't have a DPF though...
