Would anybody know what the fuel consumption is like on a 2007 2.5 diesel Nissan Navara. Both manual and automatic models. Thanks.

30-35mpg depending on driving styles, less if towing

    Thanks. that doesn't seem excessive. I've heard horror stories. 20 - 25 mpg.

If pulling yeah be definitely 25 or below. The cruisers and troopers though are 18-20mpg pulling though. If ya keep steady and keep revs below 3k they aint so bad. Not for the hyper driver;) Looking to get a landcruiser myself, I'm not doing so much road anymore so can handle the fuel economy for the comfort, unless i hit to Oz.

im averaging about 25mpg (around 11L/100KM) with an empty 7 seater 2007 pathfinder so id imagine it would be similar enough.
I do tend to have a bit of a heavy foot though :o

So far shes running like a dream. I have it about 5 months now and the only issue that popped up is a leak in the windscreen washer bottle. According to the dealer its a common fault and a quick fix. (under guarantee)

Just got rid of one myself ,

    Couldn't keep diesel in her,

Full tank was costing sub €100 and was only getting 550 to 600 km from that.

Mine was automatic,08, beautiful jeep but could couldn't justify the diesel costs ,

Had a pathfinder before and it was a lot more economical

I have a Navara and i find it ok on fuel, saying that its my first 4x4, thinking of changing to a Isuzu dmax 3.2, but im getting worried abit about a lower mpg, anyone any info whether it would be a big change

Big problem with all proper size 4x4s and pickups is that people buy them, having only driven cars, then expect that they can treat them like cars in terms of driving, they're big heavy workhorses designed to be tough and have lots of power and good gearing far off road work and towing etc not cars to tear around in. THey will not handle or perform like normal ordinary cars so anyone expecting that will be disappointed

Thought the D-max was 2.5 or 3.0? I have never came across a 3.2 but thats not saying they don't exist. I have a 3.0 D-max. She does about 32 mpg. Towing she drinks it faster than Georgie Best.

Those are great figures, I'll definitely be looking at one of them once i decide to get rid of the pajero
