    Boought a new car recently and this was near the gear know, anybody know what it is ? Seems to be some sort of handsfree thing. Should also note that it came with a non working parrot bluetooth handsfree

    A lot of Opels came with laserline alarms which have an electronic key for alarm override. It looks like the touch point for that key.

    It's aftermarket, it wouldn't be in the manual.

    its an imobiliser ,, kinda popular a few years ago theres a plug u push against it to deactivate it ,, if the cars working ok leave it well alone ,could be trouble if u try removing it

    As mentioned before. It looks like Laserline immobiliser. Obviously disabled.
