    Hi guys,

really couldn't find anywhere to post this, I think this might the most relevant forum,

I've come across some old camcorder tapes which i'd love to get on to dvd on just on the computer as a digital file, but the camcorder doesnt work anymore.
So i'm looking to find out what options I have? all comments welcome!

    Thanks.

I'm not too sure what type they are, i'll have a look this evening when i'm home. what method do you use? was kinda hoping to do it myself.

Ideally i'm hoping that i can find one of those VHS adapters that hold the tape in them and I can then play it in a vcr and scart this to the DVD recorder and save it there.......

Well if it's MiniDv I just capture it on my PC via firewire/USB.
