    Receving Jobseekers allowance every tuesday.
    I am just wondering if anyone know the xmas arrangements
    RE: payment dates.
    Can't find anything on the web except for 2010 dates.

    Maybe if there were options like this one available to customers, and there was a good take up, there would be less phone calls, which would mean more people getting answered? Or even a verified representative on here answering questions on an official basis - could cut down on a lot of calls people make to the office if they had other avenues of customer service to explore?
    I wonder whatever happened to the verified representative from Citizen's Information - don't see him around these parts much anymore!
    Anyway that is seriously going off on a tangent!

    Was there someone from Cit Info on here??!! WOW! That must have been some bruises and batters Forum!! They log outta Boards crying I Hate My Job!!! :D How long ago was that?! They'd have their work cut out for them these days if they were on here I'd say!! :eek::eek::D Would love to be a fly on the Desktop for that!! :D:D

    Hi if you check on www.welfare.ie and on top of page there is a tab that says christmas arrangements click that and you can find out payment details for christmas 2011.

    Christmas Payment Arrangements 2011
    The Department's offices will be closed on Monday 26 December, Tuesday 27 December and Monday 2 January 2012.

    Electronic Information Transfer (EIT) collected from An Post
    Weekly Payments
    All customers paid weekly will receive their normal payment(s) and an advance payment during the week beginning Monday 19 December, 2011. The advance payment will be the payment(s) due in the week beginning Monday 26 December 2011 and therefore there will be no regular weekly payment(s) that week.

    Payments due for collection on Monday 26 December 2011 may be collected from Monday 19 December 2011.

    Payments due for collection on Tuesday 27 December 2011 may be collected from Tuesday 20 December 2011.

    Payments due for collection on Wednesday 28 December 2011 may be collected from Wednesday 21 December 2011.

    Payments due for collection Thursday 29 December 2011 may be collected from Thursday 22 December 2011.

    Payments due for Friday 30 December 2011 may be collected from Friday 23 December 2011.

    Payments due for Monday 2 January 2012 may be collected from Friday 30 December 2011.

    Normal payment dates will resume from Tuesday 3 January 2012.

    Monthly Payments
    Monthly payments will issue as normal with the exception of SWA Supplement payments as follows;

    Due Date: Friday 23, Monday 26, Tuesday 27 & Wednesday 28 December 2011
    Pay Date: Friday 23 December 2011

    Due Date: Thursday 29 December 2011
    Pay Date: Thursday 29 December 2011

    Payment directly to an account in a financial institution – (Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT))
    Weekly Payments

    Foreign payments will be paid as normal

    Illness/Injury Benefit
    All Illness/Injury Benefit customers must continue to send in medical certificates as normal over the Christmas period.

    Christmas Signing Arrangements for Jobseekers Customers
    Signing is suspended for all customers due to sign in the four-week period from Monday, 12th December 2011 until Friday, 6 January 2012.

    Customers who sign other than on a monthly basis and who are due to sign between Monday, 12th December and 6th January 2012 are excused signing for that period and are being advised of their next signing date.

    Postal signers - dockets
    Signing for postal signers is suspended from 12th December 2011 until 6th January 2012. If a postal signing customer’s next signing day falls during this period, the customer will not receive a docket. However, their next docket will cover an eight-week period.

    Customers working casually
    Casual customers are advised to return dockets for the weeks-ending 13/14, 20/21 and 27th/28th December to their local office by 12th December to ensure continuous payment over the Christmas period. As dockets are produced in advance in batches of 4 customers may receive dockets for these dates over separate mailings.:)

    does anyone know about the child benefit payment for people who get it through the bank as it usually goes in on a saturday when the following monday is a bank holiday???

    Anyone know what he story is with the payments that were moved to earlier dates. Do we have three days from the new earlier date to collect it or do we now have 4 days? My payment that should be today(2nd) was available on the 30th. Do I have til Wednesday or Thursday to collect it?

    I work Part Time 3 Days a week cause thats all i can get anyone know story with Job Seekers Allowance Payments and when we will receive next payment and do we just get cheque through letterbox as usual?

    Im wondering this too, got two checks before x-mas, was expecting them to start back as usual today but didnt get one..

    i got 2 eeks on the 20th dec so i should get a ceque this week right?

    my partner is on jsa and he got his double week 20th and aslo got paid tuesday
