one of the lads on blitzandgriffin.com did it for me. if you join it and ask there you might have some luck. have you everything else done like finding the wiring behind the clocks and installing the clutch switch etc?

No yet im just looking around too see if I can get it done. All i need to do is fit the stalk and enable it in the ecu. My astra is a diesel so it already has the clutch switch. How much did he charge you ?

Yeah, no point in going ahead tho if I can't find someone to do it and I'm sure a dealer would charge a fair few bob. Im in Enfield, Co. Meath but there might be someone around..

im sure there is a guy from dublin who has it. you can buy op com yourself for about 30quid and use an online guide. i was there with the guy who did mine, its not hard.

no worries. just remember the car has to be above a certain speed and rpm for the CC to kick in, just in case you're tearing your hair out!

    Haha alright ;D

Im in south dublin and can do it. You need to have the security code for the car.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,238 ✭✭✭Ardennes1944

which should be in your manual in your glovebox

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 391 ✭✭smilgy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,924 ✭✭✭Nforce

    *OLD THREAD ALERT*

I've been searching my manual for the car pass, but can't find anything.

The only four digit code I can find is on the receipt from the non-Opel dealer I bought it from. It's down as Manufacturer Code. Underneath it, Key Code and Radio Code are blank.

Is there any chance that the non-Opel dealer would have had it?

    Hello.
I have an 2005 Astra Estate CDTi.
I installed foglights like in this guide http://www.astraownersclub.com/vb/showthread.php/519968-Fog-Lights-(all-you-need-to-know)
but I need them enabled on the ECU.
I also bought clocks with blue LEDS. Could they be programmed in to my car?
I also broke my LCD display for my radio.
Its the small type with the 2 buttons.
Can I pair up a replacement from a scrapyard or would it be easier to get a new radio and display?
    Ger
