Me and my girlfriend had sex recently.. I used a condom but after we were finished.. we had sex again, without a condom. I didn't ejaculate inside her the second time.

She is on the pill for the past 3 months, taking it almost perfectly and her period was due today and nothing :(

    Am I worrying over nothing?

If she has been taking the pill perfectly for the last month, then it's highly unlikely (although not totally impossible) that she is pregnant.
Even though you didn't ejaculate while still inside her there still would have been pre-ejaculate and that can cause pregnancy.

If she has been worried she may be pregnant then that could be delaying her period. Also, I notice myself that my period can be a day or two late for no apparent reason and worrying about it more often than not will make it worse.

Try to relax. There isn't much you can do about it now. You'll just have to wait and see.

I would guess though, that she is not pregnant.

Even with being on the pill it can be a day or two either side of the expected day for a period to start. If it was due and hasn't arrived then she can do a test to put both your minds at rest.

Yes your worrying over nothing. Id this is how you would tend to feel if you dont is a condom (even though she's on the pill!) then make sure you use one in future, although there really is no need. Chances of pregnancy are so minute.

If your girlfriend is on the pill then I wouldn't view it as having unprotected sex - condom plus pill is doubling up on the protection against pregnancy at least, minus the condom you still have one contraception working.

By all means she should take a test to allay your fears - all variants of the pill have a documented failure rate but they are usually very low and many couples have regular sex for years without pregnancy resulting...and that's before you get to the odds of pregnancy occurring having not actually ejaculated inside her.

If the possibility makes you very anxious, perhaps just double up every time in the future?

    All the very best.

Remember for next time that unless you have a shower between the 2 times, then sure you would have been completely covered in your own semen from the first time. So really you are relying on the pill being effective (which it normally is).
As long as she has been taking it correctly and hasnt been on medication/been vomiting in the last little while you should be ok.

Seriously you should be doing your homework before engaging in 'unprotected' sex before you do it rather than waiting til after and asking strangers in the Internet.

Well its the second day and still nothing.. Is it too early to take a pregnancy test seen as they all seem to say a week after the missed period is the time to do the test anything earlier can just be a false negative.

I'm sure everything is fine, OP. Give it a few more days, if her period still hasn't come then get a test. You should probably be aware that you don't necessarily have to ejaculate inside the girl for her to become pregnant, so the pull out technique is a load of bollox. Check out the sticky at the top here.

OP please do not attack other posters or make derogatory comments about other forums or this thread will be locked.

All, could you ensure that advice is constructive, helpful and relevant to the issue the OP actually posted about.

    Many thanks.

Get to a chemist and get a clear blue pregnancy test.
They can be used a few day before the period date.

    http://www.clearblueeasy.com/pregnancy-test.php
Clearblue Pregnancy Tests are over 99% accurate from the day of the expected period

At Clearblue we believe that consumers need a result they can be confident in and act on, and therefore we provide products that deliver over 99% accuracy from the day of the expected period. Not all pregnancy tests are over 99% accurate from the day of the expected period (e.g. First Response 6 days sooner test).

Clearblue Pregnancy Tests can be used up to 4 days before the expected period

If a Clearblue Pregnancy Test is used on the day of the expected period, it is more than 99% accurate in detecting the presence of hCG. The high sensitivity of the Clearblue Pregnancy Test also means that pregnancy can be detected up to 4 days before the expected period. Not all pregnant women who test before the day of their expected period will obtain a ’pregnant’ result. This is because urinary hCG levels may not yet be above the threshold for the test. Any woman who tests early and gets a negative result, but still suspects pregnancy, should test again the day of the expected period.

OP, if it makes you feel any better lots of couples in relationships use the pill only, it's almost 100% effective when used correctly. Add to that the fact that you pulled out, I really don't think there's anything to worry about! To me, unprotected sex means no contraception, which isn't the case here (though it goes without saying that the pill doesn't protect against STDs)
