There won't be any site that you can go on and it'll get done for you. Start looking around scrap yards, donedeal, gumtree, adverts, buyandsell etc for second hand bits. You'll get the wheels off an old Punto Sporting (they're lovely wheels).

Google HID kits and you'll find pleanty of places doing it.

For the lowering, you could go down the coilover route but IMO it'd be pointless, just get some lowering springs that'd suit your car, again google is your friend.

Don't get an induction kit, it won't do anything at all.

Alfa 145 teledials be the job

14 too small for a punto, you need 15.

Na man on my tyre wall it says, 165/60/R14
but would 15s fit without changing the way the speedo reads because of bigger tyres?

Some puntos came with 15s. sporting model and hgt

185/55/15 are the factory size, but 195/50/15 tyres will do and are way cheaper.

    Speedo will be fine too

would there be any rubbing in the arches from the wider and taller tyre?

Heres mine on 15s. Lowered 50mm all round on eibachs
    Image0908.jpg

Don't get 14s, steelies are fine but 14 inch alloys will look rubbish.

    Use 195/50R15s :)

Heres the same car on 16s
    Image00981.jpg

    And again on 17s
    Image0210.jpg

No rubbage on either of those setups.

    Both 7j wide rims, 40et

    195/45R16

    205/40R17

The 17s blunt the performance though...

Induction you say? Anything other than a GSR or my "mystery pipe" creation is useless ;)
    Image0913.jpg

As for hids, have you H7s or H1s?

Don't forget a decent set of wind deflectors :)

Personally agree, 15s or 16s max. Anything else looks silly :p

The springs came with the car so I can't put a link up, except that theyre available on ebay :)

GSR induction kits are as rare as rocking horse poo. This is what they look like
    208407_10150163136888934_602883933_6566849_7926183_n.jpg
My mystery pipe does a similar job... ;)

The headlights came with H7 or H1 bulbs depending on year and spec. Fogs are H3s :)

Wind deflectors are a must if you don't want wind blowing in your face while driving! :D

I'm guessing he has the 8 valve 1.2 with the frying pan on top on the engine. Can you actually get induction kits for these?

    I have a Sporting :)

    Image10111.jpg

    For the 8v though...

GSR do kits for the 8v Punto too in a few different guises

A much easier and cheaper alternative is the Focus induction kit...

would they even make a diff at all or is it jus for a deeper sound?

Yes. The differences are noticeable. Heres a dyno print comparing the gsr and focus kit on a Punto 60

Your not too far from Urban Performance, I reckon dropping it into them for a diagnosis would be a good idea, they'll be able to sort you out.

Just went to check the website and its being redone but GaryITR works there and should be able to help you out, give him a PM.

I'm assuming you have an 8v, your throttle needs a good clean by the sounds of it

Have a gander at this link, the throttle is different however it uses the same technique to clean fully

    Linky

I bought a hsx about 10 years ago, then they brought out the special series. To be fair it wasn't great spec or anything, no sunroof or a few other bits that were on mine, the spoiler and leather wheel were about all it had extra over a hsx.

    Try partfinder.ie

Don't waste your time on 14s, they look worse than steel wheels

so 15's would be a straight fit and have no affect on the speedo or anything?

how much should i be lookin to pay for 15s with tyres from a scrappy?

Wheels, nicer centre console, elec heated mirrors, better radio, boot spoiler (bravo) foglights, different doorcards and nice seats, not the miserable purple ones! :(

Just get the rims on their own. Pay no more than 10 per wheel. Tyres new are approx 50 a shot for 195/50R15s

Yard tyres could be flatspotted

I find these better though ;)

    /]

The hsx had all the above over the sx bar the spoiler.
I think the seat colour goes on the exterior paint colour. Mine were blue, but I remember seeing the maroon ones too. I replaced the centre console with one from a marea.

It's unusual to see one on the road now, they were quite a striking car at the time.
