Hopefully Dean Winstanley gives it a go. I think he could do really well in the PDC.

Talk last week about Hankey getting a place in the premier league. In an interview in a regional newspaper in England during the week Barry Hearn ruled out any chance of him playing in the premier league while he remains in the BDO and basically telling him that he has to join up the PDC and earn his place. I wonder would he be tempted to give the school a go?

The only thng that might stop Hankey is if he was to give it a go and not qualify which is certainly a possibility. He would then have to go back to the BDO with his tail between his legs and I'm not sure if he would be willing to take the risk.

i dont think hankey would give it a go, like martin adams he is part of the furniture in the bdo and also he hates losing so he wouldnt want 2 hurt his pride either by entering and losing.

Dean Winstanley im sure will give it a bash, did very well at the GSOD and is more than good enough to do well.

We will also see a few old faces there 2. The likes of Alan Warriner Little, Peter Manley and Peter Evison have all entered already so hopefully they will do well.
Chris Mason has recently said he will give it a go 2, Wayne Mardle could too but i wouldnt be surprised if he didnt enter because he has a very good job with sky so he could decide to concentrate on that full time.
It would be nice to see some of those players get their game back.

and off topic, Dennis Priestley. It would be criminal if he doesnt get a place at the world championship. we would all love to see priestley have one last hurrah at the ally pally to bring the curtain down on one of the great darting careers.

At the end of the day Winstanley's game is def good enough for the pdc but whether he makes the step over the divide depends on how well he does at lakeside for me..

Another mention to the decent players on the irish circuit this year.. Like Finnan, McCloskey could give it a go but thats prob unlikely.
