New eircom phone equipment - now no dial up Internet:-(

Any ideas? It stil dials but error 678 comes on screen, saying the remote computer did not respond. And no connection since eircom put in a Cell fax Plus in their home. Appreciate any ideas to help her get back online. Thanx
