Free program to watermark an image onto an image?

Hey all,


Just wondering if anyone knows of a program that'll quickly and easily let me watermark hundreds of photographs with an image?


I stress image, and not text, because I'm looking to put a logo on them (png file). I use Fastwatermark for my stuff at the moment, as it lets you put a text watermark on the image, and processes lots of photos in seconds.


I know I could create a layering action in photoshop and this would do the job, but really, I'd like to be able to do it outside of photoshop on a standalone program (i seem to have difficulty creating an action that will overwrite the photos in a folder, without trying to save them all with the same file name).


Anyone know of anything decent (please don't mention the words "light" or "room" :pac: )

Thank you Basq. I know that name. Pretty sure I used it for something else in the past... Hmm...

I'm still looking at photoshop actioning but I'll download and re-try Irfanview now, too.
