Great to see Gary Russell Jr. and Broner getting good wins.

Though he started the last round well, it was only going to go one way

Should never have been sent out for the 5th, he so didn't want to be there and hadn't a hope in winning that fight. Totally out of his dept tonight.

Great stuff from the butcher boy all the same, looked like he could have finished it at anytime.

Cintron is finished, can't take a punch anymore. Shame i thought it was going to be a good test.

Cintron never got into it really. A good win for Canelo as he did look a class above.
There are a few names knocking about at 154 that he could get on his record in the next couple of years before moving up. Cotto or Margarito may not be in great shape after another war, and im sure a dance with mosely or brook from the welters would not be met with too much resistance.

On the undercard Bronner did well to finish the fight as he did as in the previous round he looked very uncomfortable in there.

Russel was impressive against a shot Ruiz and Deontay Wilder VS Tyson Fury down the line anyone?

Don't know whats left for Cintron really, will he go on and be a gate keeper for the 154 division?

As for Canelo, get in with the winner of Cotto-Margarito :) Actually that makes too much sense, never mind!

Think this spells the end for Cintron. If he has any sense he will retire now. There wont be anymore big money fights for him. Most opposition will find it relatively easy to overcome his style IMO.

As for Canelo, really looking forward to his next handful of fights. He somewhat restores my confidence in big fight night boxing. Russell jnr & Broner make for exciting future as well.

Yeah Cintron looked like he didn't want any of it once he took some serious shots.
Alvarez looked much heavier than 154 maybe its cos he's a smaller man

I thought he could bang a few years ago, but all he was throwing was jabs last night, he wasn't holding off Canelo with half arsed jabs. Should of tried to get some respect in the early rounds...

I think this is unlikely. Surely Money wont move up to 154 lb, and correct me if im wrong but doesnt Canelo struggle to make 154 lb at times?
