Infracted for bitching remarks

    Hi,

I'd like for someone to review this because in my opinion the penalty is completely uncalled for.

I was having a friendly discussion with a user called BostonB and I found a legal term with what we were discussing.

Another user (Diogenes) interjected with an insult,
Well done BB you seem to have learnt a new word. Now I'll explain what it means.

I just like anyone else don't come here to be patronised. So I responded to him and quoted the same section of his post with
...Stopped reading here. Try again with manners or not at all.

I had stopped reading as soon as I read the insult. It certainly was not a bitching comment and was not back seat modding either. It was an invitation to discuss with me provided he did not insult me, not telling him how to behave overall.

The infraction was for not just reporting the post and letting it be but cluttering up the thread with complaining about the abuse. The abuser got banned which I'm happy with, I'm content to allow the mod to infract for this kind of thing as it disrupts the forum and the thread was already very disrupted before your comments.

You may ask an Admin to review this if you wish.
