Fork upgrade for Light(ish) Rider

Hi everybody! I have a question about upgrading my MTB. I have a Fuji Nevada 1.0 ( http://www.performancebike.com/bikes/Product_10052_10551_1094308_-1_20000__400308 ), and I HATE my forks.

I'm a light enough rider (around 56kg) and the Sr suntour xcm's are too tightly sprung for me! The forks provide absolutely no relief when going over small fast bumps, and i would only have a benefit over a stiff fork when coming off bigger drop-offs and jumps.

My question is, what fork should I upgrade to? My Lbs reccomended a Rockshox Recon gold RL, and when comparing the two forks in the shop, the difference is massive. I would like something that I can carry onto a better bike in the future if I upgrade.

I ride xc and as before, I'm a light(ish) rider looking for a suspension for that will suit my weight (not too stiff), I would really like to pay below €350 for whatever I get, and anything more that €400 is a definite no-go.

    Thanks in advance,
    Rónán :):):):):)

If your frame will take it planet x/on one have been selling RockShox Revelation RLTs for €370 odd - 140mm of tuneable, lockout-able, air sprung niceness.

A Reba would give you a similar type of fork with 100mm travel but I don't recall seeing them for such a good a price as the revelations.

The dual air RockShox Forks are pretty nice in that you can adjust their small bump sensitivity pretty well arising from having separately pressured positive and negative chambers in the spring leg

Suntour forks are generally the worst out there, spec'd for cheapness rather than function...

The RS forks will be just the job, your weight is irrelevant to which model of fork you buy, its all about how the fork's air pressure is set-up relevant to your weight....

My bad - its a few weeks since I was looking at them last it seems as if they're gone - THIS was the fork they had.

.... but over on their MTB sister site (On One) you can still find the revelation and a possibly more suitable set of Rebas to chose from. Oh and here's another Reba option too. Happy shopping!
