    anyone ever caught the elusive gilleroo trout of lough melvin? ive heard of them from internet but never seen anyone or heard of someone catching one

    You get them on the mask aswell...

    Melvin is my home water so i do get a good number of gillies each year.
    beautiful looking fish and quality size too.

    thankfully they have been excluded from competition on Melvin for the last number of years so they don't get targeted as much as they used to.
