Could someone have access to my iPhone?

    I bought an iPhone on ebay a few months back. It was previously used but in good condition. It was jailbroken and had been restored to factory settings - except the seller mailed me to tell me he would add some games and apps onto it for me. At the time I didn't think much of it, I thought he was just being nice. But my Facebook app is still connected to the old owner's email address. And while I was able to change the primary email address to my own and can control my other apps with my own email address, I can't do the same with Facebook. I can use it fine, but I can't update or delete the app itself as I need to enter the previous user's email info. I find this quite strange... could he have access to my Facebook?? Or to my iPhone itself??

    sounds like your still running the facebook app installed through the previous owners iTunes details etc

    delete the app.
    Back up
    restore
    log into itunes using your details
    re-install FB and any other app you want.

    The problem is, it wont let me delete the app at all? But all other apps are synced to my details fine?

    Also, is updating and restoring the same thing at all? I cant update my iPhone because it locks when I do that, because of the jailbreak.

    what do ya mean it locks, sounds as if it has the ipad baseband so a restore fails, go to settings>general>about and scroll down to modem firmware and tell us what it is

    Why can't you go to account->logout on the facebook app?

    If you change your Apple ID password, it should log out from all apps.

    Can you not remove facebook even via itunes on the PC? you can try go to itunes on the PC, on the Apps menu top left, delete Facebook, after search and download Facebook using your own email address, conenct Iphone, select it on the left, go to Apps, untick Facebook if slected listed, sync to remove it from Iphone go back and tick facebook again and sync again now you should have it linked to your itunes account.
