I doubt this as the Dublin Coach service goes from Naas to the airport hourly for €10.

Maybe the taxi was advertising Dublin Coach? was the advert green and orange?

The AD is actually a bit misleading. The bus (Dublin Coach) is 10 euro a head. However if you have a certain amount of people travelling, it works out cheaper than the bus.

I'd prefer not to mention the Taxi Company. Get the bus.

If it is millennium cabs check the tyres and nct! Saw one of their mini-coaches a while back a 22seat Mercedes which had one legal tyre and plenty of rust, an awful wreck. Also had no insurance disk showing and was parked up illegally in a bus bay. Same company has other smaller minibusses which are kept immaculate.

Afaik the cheapest taxi from Naas to the airport works out at around €70 so with a full 8seater it would be slightly cheaper than Dublin coach with their free wifi and comfortable newish coaches. No contest really.

Of course it didn't have an NCT. Buses don't have NCT's; just goes to show your knowledge on mechanics and such issues

Unless you actually booked a taxi on said journey and were charged said fare then you actually don't know, do you:rolleyes:

Well i dont actually know if the vehicle had a valid DOE test certificate but from the state of the tyres it would have failed a DOE vehicle examination on the condition of the tyres.

And most of the companies i have been in contact with in Naas have said they do an airport run for €70 and the Taxi regulator site has the journey from Main St Naas to the Airport as costing €65-€80 without any extras or premium charge.

Losty Dublin and Foggy Lad - two big girls bras. I don't know which of you have the bigger tits! :D Neither of you live in Naas so feck off. Airport runs via Taxi are made up on the spot in Naas despite the regulator.

I thought the taxi regulator only set maximum fares?
