    They're Hiat "figure 8" Irish handcuffs probably from the late 1800's.

    There are specialist collectors of this sort of thing and in that condition you could easily get 120 euros for them.

    I would assume the IRA stamps came later as the IRA didnt exist in the late 1800s

    The "IP" stamped on them stands for Irish Police(i think)..it was a model name rather than anything else..i reckon IRA is something similar but not sure what it stands for.
