Dreambox 500 not working

hello guys,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum if not please mods feel free to move it.

my dreambox stopped showing the Irish satellite channels so I was pressurized by my dad to fix it.

So i was playing with it and suddenly it said no Irish channel bouquet and all stations were gone.

I tried rebooting it and h= its starts but reboots itself.

How can I fix it before my dad goes berserk before tomorrow.

just reflash an image with a null modem cable and flash a new up to date bouquet (channel list)

I don't havean null modem cable can I iuse a rca cable to connect it to my pc.

You can't flash it over an rca cable..

Has to be a null modem or flash over the network but as its not starting up you have to use a null modem cable..

before you go writing an image to it, do you know what you are doing?

Maybe you have just deleted the channel list by accident, easy done on some images.

Download dreambox edit and search for an irish enigma 1 channel list, if you can't find one pm me a mail addy and I will mail you the latest.

You won't be able to load a channel list if the box is in a boot loop as described mate..

I don't know what i'm doing.
I will check some tutorial on youtube as soon as I have the null modem cable.

were can I get it from ?
