    Hey,,
Just after buying an 95 mondeo,,
Look its nothing special just a car ta get me on the road while working on a project car,,

But i knew there was something wrong with the Cooling fan when i bought the car,,

    Iv looked at it since,,

    Checked fuse--Grand
    Checked Thermostat-- Grand

So i think its either the sensors or the actual fan??

Any Thoughts on this?? or Any way how check which isn't working?

Also The Gauge for water temperature in the dash isnt working and im guessing that its the sensor thats gone?

Apparently this is a very occuring problem with mk1 Mondeos? Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated :)

If I good remember MKI have 2 sensors, one for clock second for fan. Sensor for fan is fitted on radiator and for clock somewhere on engine. Sensor for fan on radiator have 2 cable, when you join this cable together fan shut start, be careful for hands when fan starts.

Am well theres 2 sensors on the the housing of the thermostat which i thought would be one for fan and one for dash But Will look into it thanks!

Did you check that fan is ok and working ? Take off fan relay from fusebox near battery and on working engine join pin 3 and 5 on relay socket, fan should start, if not take off fan plug and check that power is there, you can use multimeter or standard car bulb. If you have power that means that fan can be faulty. To be sure connect fan directly to battery and see that work or not.

P.S. You know that MK1 have 2 fuse box, one near battery second under steering wheel.
