I was a passenger in a Peugeot 307 the other day and have to say...very comfortable, loads of headroom, almost a semi-MPV.

Most current SEATs would be quite tall.

    Also the previous-gen Honda Civic.

Audi A2 if you can get your hands on one,
I drove one and thought straight away it would suit the parents.

i'd be looking more towards the golf plus or kia venga if I were you.
But it really depends on your budget. My parents are in the same position and looked more towards SUV styles like the toyota rav4 and ford kuga

    Ford C-Max should be considered.

Ford Kuga, Honda FRV type yokes. I had a Kuga recently for a few days and the seating height etc would be ideal for your requierments, lots of cash though so the FRV may be more of a reasonable suggestion. Any idea of budget?

Ford Fusion has a high driving position. Being a Ford and basically a tall Fiesta so parts and servicing are reasonable.

    An example:
