Booking Flight Qs

I don't know much about this subject, but I am in the process of booking flights. I see this on the Aer Lingus site:
    Low tooltip.gif
    Flex tooltip.gif

    DepartingArrivingFlight
    • Free Check-in
    • Assigned Seating
    • Optional add-ons
    • 2 checked bags
    • Full flexibility
    • Lounge access
    • Refundable ticket
I dont follow it, and it is only economically feasible to get the low option. So whats the catch that its 200 quid cheaper?

The catch is that you can't change the flight time or the person flying without paying a change fee and any difference in fare. The flex fare is probably aimed at business travelers who may need to change their flight time at short notice.
